Brushes Collide in a celebration of art and the magic of the visual – Voting for the 3rd Annual Holy Verses art contest has begun!

Ladies, gents, and denizens of The Verses,

Take a gander at some of the finest displays of visual talent this side of Subspace, then vote on our fancy official discord server at https://discord.gg/nZFyza9Qe3.

If for whatever reason you cannot cast your vote in the 2025-fan-art-contest-voting channel, send me your vote to kell@kellinkston.com and I’ll make sure your voice is heard and tallied with the rest of the votes. Remember, voting ends on May 20th, so cast your votes right away!

Now, without further ado, the contestants for this year!

In order of submission:

Toloma – a stunning slice of life piece with everyone’s favorite dragon slayer enjoying a day off

HistoriaLgd – a humorous drive by with Ree at the wheel?! And what’s up with that air freshener?

ToraXD001 – a purportedly non-canon housewife Order, worrying for a certain drug-addled slob (is she a drug-addled slob in this headcanon?)

Franibearr – Last year’s winner going with a particularly meta direction with this piece. What does Miss Ketiere have in her hands there? What do I have in my hands there?!

Akiro – Good enough to be a manga cover, especially in a world where Delivery Minion “got it” with legendary millennia old knightesses!

GoyaMoo – A tender comic about one of Order’s favorite hobbies. I adore Chaos’ look in this. She must have had a word with him if he’s wearing clothes. (you might need to open this one in a tab to read)

GoyaMoo – A focused piece of the above comic. A calm lady enjoys a warm beverage… no booze mixed in, surely!

Outstanding contributions from everyone once again this year. Now it’s time to cast votes!

If you can’t make it to the discord and choose to vote via email (send to kell@kellinkston.com with your picks) you should know you get two votes, but only one per piece!

See you all next month for the results. Thanks for being so patient with me as I work on the new website, audio editions and lots of surprising new things.

Onward and Inkward,

Kell
