Brr! Here: some space music to keep you warm:
This is that special time, my favorite month, where everything seems to die except for the spirits of people around the world.
If you can stop reading this and do something nice for someone, this is a very good excuse, just say that “the four eyed weirdo in the magical computer-box told me!” and go for it.
You go make that toast for your loved one, and you best spend the time and attention needed to make it just the way they like it. People are such special things: running around and having dreams that are very worth coming true – sometimes all they need is someone to help lift them up and get them started back where they need to go. Toast is a good first step, I’ve found.
Love is the true universal currency, and even if you don’t receive your good or service back right away, you can make as much as you believe you have in you. The love you’re able to give is largely correlated to the amount of love you’ve received throughout your life – so it’s really good when people love you back, but it’s not necessary once you understand, in your spirit as much as in your mind, that it can be a truly infinite resource.
Love isn’t your duty; it isn’t your job, but I’ll be damned if it doesn’t make things easier for everyone when it’s genuine.
Happy Holidays, now let’s dig into it.
Free book of the month: a great LitRPG from a personal favorite
A dear author and good friend of mine is running a promotion for his very cool book – perhaps his coolest.
*ehem*

Lord Kadorax Darkarrow was born on Earth, but in Agglor, he’s the highest-level assassin anyone can find. The leader of the famed Blackened Blades, he’s made a name for himself, built a kingdom of sorts, and only had to respawn once along the way.
Then a rogue band of jackals sends him all the way back to a dreary tavern in a tiny village to start over at level one.
Hellbent on revenge, Kadorax sets out on a path littered with bodies—level up, find the jackals, slay their god!

Happy Holidays!
*cough cough*
Us poor writers may not have much, but we do have scout minion Kingsday wreath gifs.

Feel free to save and share for your holiday cards this year, or just keep her all to yourself – she looks like she hit that eggnog a little too hard. From everyone across the Holyverse: Happy Holidays!
I need beta readers! Nocturna League: Season 3(?!!?)
That’s right, the wait is over.
Pretty soon (probably before February) I’ll be sending out beta reader copies for Nocturna League Episode 11, with 12, 13, 14, and yes, even 15, to follow in the months following.
If you’d enjoy a story from me that no one else has read yet, filled with coming of age themes, complex fish-person politics, spooky sea monster action, the return of a very famous lobster chef, and some of the weirdest romance themes I’ve put on a page ever (sorry MortXEffie fans,) your time has come
Email me at kell@kellinkston.com or join the discord at https://discord.gg/nZFyza9Qe3 and request the beta_reader role – either will put you on the list.
Featured Art of the Month: “Museum Goers” by Serikarts

I’m not sure Order cares all that much about “impressionistic Delivery Minion” but it does say a lot that she’s at least willing to let Chaos gush about it.
Until next month (and next year) have a blessed time and work hard to do all you can, even when the weather’s a little more severe and the usual. With the right attitude dreams will come true, no matter the temperature.
Much warmth,
K.I.

Some days you lose, but all it means is that the very ground you stand on becomes caffeinated – Onward and Inkward!
